AS we grow up, there are certain events that there to teach us basic things and boost our mental abilities giving us confidence. Cartoons are one of the best ways to relax and that was implemented on early ages up to date. There are lots of benefits that come with watching cartoons which include entertainment and mental rejuvenation . Cartoons have a way to get you thinking as well as a stress reliever from a long day at work or school. Cartoons have the greatest impact in entertaining and giving education at the same time and this may be considered as edutainment. In this 21st century, children are more into technology such that television and internet are now common to them. The benefit of using cartoon visuals in learning sector has improved the learning easier to the kindergarteners quickly understand and grasp the things they will be learning. Cocomelon is a good example of edutainment as it is aimed at the younger audience , the show makes use of music and colorful amination in teaching children in various topics including numbers, letters, colors and more. It is an exciting and educational show that is modified to engage and entertain children while they learn. Parents find that their children are able to gain more information when it is presented in a fun and interactive way. Adults can also be captivated to the extent of forgetting stress that they will be going through. Cartoons have the ability to make us laugh, cry and feel all sorts of emotions. Some animations by Pixar and Disney for instance Despicable Me among others, contains language that you can tell target a mature audience which in turn makes for entertainment for both parent and child. Avatar:The Last Airbender, Steven Universe, Gravity Falls, She-Ra and the Princess of Power are the great examples of cartoons that are both entertaining and educational, teaching important values and morals. These cartoons explore amazing themes of friendship, forgiveness and acceptance on how to treat others with respect and kindness. These type of cartoons are filled with luxurious graphics and beautiful images that are suitable for both youngers and adults. That being said there are some cartoons that are for a more mature audience, these can easily be mistaken for children's programs due to the animation involved. Cartoons like The Family Guy, Rick and Morty and South Park are good examples of programs being accused in promoting violence and other negative behaviors. So parents and guardians are supposed to be vigilant on type of cartoons that the little ones will be watching to avoid such negative behavior through parental guidance during t.v time.
