Two players has been released from the under 20 men's national team camp due to breaches in team protocols.

The two players are Elton Chikona [DynamosFC] and Leon Daka [Herentals FC] who didn't travel to Malawi.

In a statement ZIFA said this is regrettable and consider it a vital disciplinary measure in its effort to instill new team culture.

''Elton Chikona [Dynamos FC] and Leon Daka [Herentals FC] have been released from the under 20 men's national team training camp and were unable to accompany the team to Malawi due to breaches in team protocols,'' ZIFA.

''While this situation is regrettable ZIFA considers it a vital disciplinary measure in its efforts to instill a new team culture characterized by respect for coaches, teammates and a strong commitment to discipline,'' ZIFA.
