Zimbabwe Women's Super League Executive Committee fired
The Women's Super League has been marred by allegations of poor governance and it all ended with the termination of employement of the two.
In a statement Mr Lincoln Mutasa the chairperson of ZIFA Normalisation Committee said there was lack of governance and a lot of irregularities at the football governing body.
The Zimbabwe Football Association Normalisation Committe has announced its decision to dissolve members of the Executive Committee for Zimbambwe Women's Super League and admistrator with immediate effect and this has been caused by lack of gorvenance-no statutory instrument being used in running the league, there are also irregularities in the application of rules and regulations,''Mr Mutasa said.
''We have also noted with great concern that the league administrator is part of a club within the league, which is not in line with expected standards and the perceived conflict of interest for a team administrator to be expected to administer the league on behalf of other teams,'' he said. He however noted that another committe will be selected in due course while waiting for the elections, in the meantime all league matters will be addressed through the ZIFA Women's Football Desk.
