Trump braces for a second term

Donald Trump won the US Election against Kamala Harris on 5 November, 2024.

He won the major states including Florida where Rick Scott was elected and Trump is enjoying a majority in the Senate.

President Joe Biden congratulated Trump and indicated that they would be a smooth transfer of power.

The smooth transfer of power is expected to happen on 20 January , 2025 when the Biden administration paves way for the new Trump administration.

Kamala Harris accepted defeat and her next move is unknown. She is still silent on what she will do next.

"This will truly be the golden age of America, " said Donald Trump during his victory speech when he won the election.

Trump started naming his new administration when he named the US Ambassador to the United Nations.

He named Susie Wiles as the White House new Chief of Staff.

There are already speculations of mass deportations of illegal immigrants residing in the United States of America. The Trump administration is against the housing of immigrants and they want to deport many of them.

Donald Trump was elected by American voters and his second term is expected to end in 2028 and the Vice President pick JD Vance is going to be the next US Vice President at the age of 39.

Donald Trump was supported by Elon Musk and Musk was said to have joined a phone call when Trump was talking to Zelensky the Ukrainian President.

Meanwhile Kremlin denied claims that Donald Trump spoke on the phone with Vladimir Putin.

Trump faces a challenge to end the war between Russia and Ukraine. He said while campaigning for the US presidency that he would end the war in 24 hours.

The United States is also trying to end the conflict among Israel , Hezbollah and Hamas. Benjamin Netanyahu is a close ally to Donald Trump and is expecting to receive support from America.
