This is a book that was inspired by true events. However, it was turned into a novel the time and setting was changed. The story started when two university love birds fell in love.
The story starts when Vladimir and Rosegold were enrolled at a university in Italy. The two started off as strangers. They did not know each other and they were strangers at the time. For the first month the classmates never across each but they would see each other in class during presentations and group tasks.
Vladimir, first noticed Rosegold when she did a class presentation. He was moved by the fact that she was confident unlike other colleagues. Rosegold carried herself with much confidence and as a professional she was destined to to be a good corporate.
At the time the book moves to the next stage there is the appearance of Petronella who was a friend of Vladimir. She connected Vladimir and Rosegold because she already knew Rosegold more than Vladimir.
Sometimes people start to know people who would have been strangers but they turn to be the best people to relate with. Vladimir was introduced to a cell group where Rosegold was member. Although Vladimir had genuine motives with the cell group. Immediately when he was introduced to cell group by Angelo he became one of the people that were participating all the time.
Vladimir and Rosegold grew close together as they were spending more time together between classes , cell group and study. Vladimir and Rosegold were both leading the study group and so many people were attracted to it.
It took Vladimir 2 month to know Rosegold to reach a decision that he wanted to propose. All this time they were friends and they were always together doing everything together. It all comes to the fact when you spend more time together you are more likely to fall in love.
All though Vladimir and Rosegold were close it came to a time when Vladimir proposed love to Rosegold. Rosegold was unpredictable and it took close to a month for her to accept Vladimir's proposal.
Life changed for the two and there were exciting times. They went on a university trip together and their love grew to another level. It came to a time when they grew apart. The time when the their love was going in circles. Rosegold complained that the love she hoped for is not what she was getting.
Rosegold started to be unavailable for Vladimir. But Vladimir continued to persue Rosegold. He was determined but Rosegold started to deny feelings for Vladimir.
Vladimir became depressed after the loss of his love. He had became so obssesed with Rosegold. He never thought that he was going to to lose Rosegold. Vladimir was so depressed that he started to fail classes. He failed classes in about 2 consecutive semester. But he finally lost control the depression got to him and he turned to be suffering from a mental health condition.
It turned out that Vladimir was suffering from Brief Reactive Psychosis one of the chronic mental health condition. He then realized that that life had turned on another leaf and Rosegold was never going to come back.
This love story is one of the best and epic stories to read. Although it has an ancient setting the story revolves around true love experience. Love is told in different ways and this one is a unique story.
