President pledges to support all rural vocational centres
President ED Mnangagwa through his government offered to support all rural vocational centres around Zimbabwe.
In his speech addressing thousands youths who came to celebrate The National Youth day at Mushagashe Vocational Training Centre in Masvingo he said that government will scale up support for all rural vocational centres so that they are all adequately equipped.
"We are committed to creating opportunities for our youth so that they can contribute to the development of our country,''he said
He also said there is now a youth desk in government that gives the youth the opportunity consult on empowerment projects and Vision 2030. "Through the youth desk we wish to address the current and future needs of youths under my government to improve the quality of life in Zimbabwe, we shall support you in any projects so that tomorrow you will be leaders of integrity,''said President ED. He however said programmes will be provided and Presidential inputs through the Ministry of Agriculture. We will provide you with programmes like the Presidential heifer pass on programme, Presidential input sceme majority of whom falls under the Ministry of Agriculture,'' he said. The Robert Mugabe National Youth Day was running under the theme Positioning Youth Empowerment and Development Torwards Vision 2030.
