For all the years that I have followed Eastern region division one soccer league this year is quite different. There is a lot of competition from perennial title contenders like Buffaloes, Tenax, Mutare City Rovers, relatively new teams like Rusitu Tigers, Fc Wangu Mazodze, Fc Hunters and teams that have been promoted. Though it’s the case we are here to set a mark and claim our rightful position.” He added,” New boys are mostly underrated when it comes to professional football but for us it’s a matter of keeping our head straight and claim maximum points on each and every encounter that we face.” Destiny Stars first outing will be at Mutare Showgrounds on Sunday 14 April 2024 as they take on Chiredzi Stars.
