Prosper Chari optimistic about his new 2025 season in Namibia
Prosper Chari who is now attached to newly promoted Namibia Premier League side Bucks Buccaneers is confident that the upcoming 2025 season is his chance to showcase what he knows best, that is defending.
Chari moved to Namibia this month after a stint with Eastern region division one side Rusitu Tigers.
Chari, who is already in Windhoek in preparation for the 2025 season told Today News that opportunities of playing abroad come once and he will will use this one jealously.
"I don't know what to say but all I can say is I'm very happy, it's a dream come true. Though it is a huge stepping stone l am also confidence of pushing myself to reach far. Opportunities like these only strike once and to compliment that you have to work hard, really hard."
Chari hinted that his time At Bucks Buccaneers has been good so far.
"Coaches this side have so much love and they help whenever you seek advice. Everything is good, from training and where we stay, it's perfect," added Chari.
Chari's sharp shoot to the Namibian elite league comes at a time when his career was shaping all angles professional.
Chari rose from BHU academy after playing for Hatcliffe United.
He then moved on to Rusitu Tigers. Bucks Buccaneers FC purchased the premier league status of Civics FC. Prosper Chari joins Takunda Mawarire who also signed a contract with the new boys after a one stint with Masvingo based side Fc Wangu Mazodze.
