Golden Mansion Investments trading as Golden Mansion Publishers has taken an inclusive approach in the farming industry. Traditionally the publishing house has been known for the expertise in publishing novels.
The end of 2023 has seen the publishing house picking interest in the Agricultural industry where they have helped Tatenda .G Mashozhera the farmer and author of the famous English book Goat Farming in Africa with Mash Goats. Driving their motor “WE RECOGNIZE, NURTURE AND MAGNIFY TALENTS”
Golden Mansion Publishers has also published the same manual and tool guide for farming in Shona and Ndebele, the major native languages in Zimbabwe. The book has been engraved with sufficient knowledge about Goat farming, mostly has insights and practical knowledge for both beginners and experienced farmers. The book is divided into ten chapters, each focusing on a specific aspect of goat farming. The book introduces readers to the basics of goat farming, including different breeds, housing requirements, and essential considerations for starting a successful goat farming business.
This guide further delves into breeding and reproduction, discussing techniques, reproductive management, and the importance of selecting the right breeding stock from a wide range which include the Boer Goat, Saanen and Kalahari Red Goat. The move to sustainable goat farming has been welcomed and hailed by Maskiri a popular Musician and Hip-hop legend who has dreamt of being a farmer while growing up in Chitungwiza. In his own words, Takudzwa Gochero the Projects Coordinator for Golden Mansion Publishers has coined that, “Working closely with goat farmers and helping them publish their books has come at a time where an alternative to the usual cattle, pigs and poultry projects is really needed”.
The publishing house believes that by translating the book Goat Farming in Africa with Mash Goats, they are going to help thousands of experienced and upcoming farmers to have the knowledge in the language they wish to.
